A banned driver blew a chance to get his licence back when he turned up to resit his driving theory test too drunk to even walk.
The man, named as Florin I, from Adjud, in Vrancea county, Romania, lost his right to drive when he was caught driving under the influence two years ago.
He came to sit the exam again but said he was too nervous and needed "something to boost his confidence".
Cristina Tanasa, a spokeswoman for the local police, said: "The candidate was tested with the breathalyser and it turned out he had 1.11 mg/l alcohol in the exhaled air.
"The exam organizers noticed him having difficulties walking and decided to give him the alcohol test. He was asked to leave the exam room immediately."
The 42-year-old man was told he will be allowed to sit the test again only if he is sober.

Happy Beatles Day
The world famous Cavern Club on Mathew Street, Liverpool, celebrated 50 years to the day since The Fab Four first played there on 9th February 1961.
People from all over the world sang and danced to the sounds of the famous scousers, as they marked half a century since the leather-clad, cuban-heeled youngsters took to the stage.
Tribute act The Mersey Beatles, one of the finest around, thrilled the audience with a live set that included all the classics from She Loves You to Ticket to Ride.
The original line-up included Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Pete Best, who wasn't replaced by Ringo Starr until 1963.
The original venue was demolished in the 1970's to make way for a car park. Fans from around the world still flock to the refurbished Cavern Club to pay homage to their heroes.
The Beatles went on to play at The Cavern 292 times before they went on to rule the world.
The city is planning a "ceiling of light" across the street, dubbed 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds', to mark the anniversary.

Confession App??
Catholic bishops have given their backing to a new way of confessing for sinners in a hurry - by mobile phone.
The new iPhone and iPad app allows users to make confession with a virtual "priest" over the internet.
It does not replace traditional confession but provides a digital alternative that can be used anywhere, reports The Sun.
Confession: A Roman Catholic App offers "a personalised examination of conscience for each user", according to its makers.
The "confession" button opens a screen that begins: "In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit."
A series of sin check-boxes invites the penitent to declare whether they have offended their parents, their family or, if a child, failed to tidy their bedroom.
The "next" button then brings up one of the Acts of Contrition followed by, "Receive Absolution and respond, Amen".
Pressing the "finish" button brings up a spiritual quotation from a Catholic saint such as Frances de Sales or Catherine of Siena.
Senior church officials in Britain and the US have approved the app, which they say can be used by Catholics and non-Catholics alike.
A spokesman for the Catholic bishops of England and Wales said: "The new 'confession' iPhone app is a useful tool to help people prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation."
Apprently though the Vatican are saying "NO! YOU MUST STILL CONFESS AT CHURCH!!!!!!"

Rihanna's New Tune gets a name change!!!
Rihanna is absolutley seething after hearing her controversial track S&M has been renamed Come On by bosses at BBC Radio 1.
It was introduced to listeners under its alternative title on Sunday by Radio 1 DJ Reggie Yates.
After one fan on Twitter informed her of the situation, Rihanna wrote in a post on her page: "Are you f**king kidding me??? I'm on it!"
I remember seeing this on twitter but I just briefly looked at it and didnt read too much into it!!
And when asked if she approved of the new title, the singer replied, "Absolutely NOT!!!"
Rihanna's suggestive single has stirred up controversy around the world - the accompanying music video, in which she sucks on a banana and ties a man to a bed, has been banned in 11 countries.
The Video is here on the blog too if you wanna see it!

China Copy TOP GUN!!!
China's military have been embarrassed by claims they used a scene from Top Gun instead of genuine footage of their latest fighter plane.
Footage supposedly showcasing the J-10 fighter, which showed an air-to-air missile destroying another jet, was broadcast by state-sponsored China Central Television.
The Wall Street Journal then published a video which compared the two film sequences, with uncanny similarities.
The explosion is so similar that the fireball appears to form the same shapes and near-identical chunks of debris spray from the detonation and travel across the screen in what looks like the same way.
No one from the state broadcaster has admitted to the fraud but, if true, such a famous film would seem a poor choice from which to cull such material.
Top Gun was released in 1986 and was a massive hit, making a global star of Tom Cruise.
If the footage is a genuine fake, it would not be the first time that subterfuge has been used by China to try to improve its image.
Some of the more spectacular footage of the Beijing Olympic Games' opening ceremony, featuring fireworks creating "footsteps" across the city, were later shown to have been created digitally.
In 2007, Xinhua, another Chinese state broadcaster, was accused of using an X-ray image of Homer Simpson to depict a genetic link to multiple sclerosis.
